So What is member activation?

Member activation is a program specially created for New Members to get them started and support them in their journey with Herbalife. This is when you assist your new member that joined your team as a distributor, to start doing the business themselves.

Whats the Objective? – Build active members, Help members reach THEIR goal through the help of tools, training, and support system, Recognition & expand the reach to new and existing customers through loving the products, achieving results and teach new people.

Member activation is crutial in growing your business. We are going to have a look at some things that are very important to share with them, some things that will assist you, and important information and training that will grow you to become a successful business builder.

So where do you start?

The new member needs to understand How the business works, the products herbalife offers and why the You factor is so important in their business.

It started with a dream

Our founder, Mark Hughes faced a personal dilemma and tragedy. His mom died due to yo-yo dieting. He decided to do something about it. He did not ask WHY this happened to him, instead he changed it to a WHY – Why he want to change his circumstances, and everyone that joined him in this dream of his. He went ahead and created one of the best business success stories in history. Instead he created he created a new WHY for himself. Similar to yourself, you need to change your life story. You need to keep focusing on your WHY. Why you embarked on this journey, and like Mark, share your WHY.

The you factor – why sharing your story and results are so important

One of the most important things is to be able to develop yourself, but also develop your members and share your results and your journey in herbalife.

You will do something similar, but remember to add the disclaimer frame to your picture. You can download the disclaimer frame here. remember to add this to all your results. Remember results needs to be labeled – Then, and now. See the example below.

Understanding the Business

Like any business, there is a Need for our products. Herbalife is there to help people address these needs. Looking at the world, there is Mega-trends happening in the world today. Herbalife is there to provide a solution.

Mega trend problems in the world today are that we are having a ageing population all over the world. Peoples life expectancy are increasing. Obesity is a huge problem, and there is a need for employment. Some people are not getting by with their income, and need something extra to support their income. That is where Herbalife comes in to address all these areas.
There are 3 main focus areas that will build or break your business. It is important that you understand the importance of each. We will look at each of these – The products, the marketing plan and YOU in this.

The You factor

Everything starts with you. You took this important decision in your life. You decided to change your circumstances. And only YOU can change it.

A lot of times people think they depend on their sponsor or other people to change their circumstances. Like Jim Rohn said.

Here are some tips to help activate your members

  1. Let them tell you what they want, how much they need and WHY did they join herbalife (everyone has to have a Strong WHY) – See some of the testimonials here to see some WHY factors that keeps members so focused. They can also have a story board that they can set up in a visual area to keep them focused – Pictures that keeps them focused and what they would like to achieve.
  2. After registering them, let them place their own order (Affordable eating and our S. T. A. M. P products to get them started)
  3. Let them implement the 90 days plan (this include challenges and moving on the marketing plan)
  4. They make sure they get RESULTS
  5. As they get results… They start packaging and sharing their stories (that Then and Now pic) and their testimonials and journey
  6. Teach them the social media strategy ( what to post on social medias and what not to say on the posts)
  7. Get their name list…. They must list their circle of influence ( not to judge people on who will use the products and who will not. And they must start with their family).
  8. They must set appointments for people who wants to join the business (you as a sponsor, u can be there)
  9. Teach them how to present the products and the opportunity (remember talking in 3rd person)
  10. Aim to qualify for events and let them come with you 😉

Non SA citizens signing up -They need copy of passport, proof of address and work permit or docs that allow them to live in SA, has to be submitted with Herbalife application. The only way I know.
